The key question is what are you going to be using the truck for? If it's just to drive something that looks like a pick up, get a C10. If you're going to be using it like a truck get the 3/4. I use to drive a 73 C10 when I worked delivering parts at a Chevy dealer. Everything is different, the frame, steering linkage and a bunch of other small stuff that is going to nickle and dime you to death. You'll be upside down in it. I use to have my own business as a electrical contractor.I use to buy 1/2 ton vans foolishly. These are still heavy vehicles with passenger car size brakes. Once you start using them as a truck, you're going to go through brake pads and shoes quickly. It's going to be hard to stop with a load due to brake fade. I'd only buy a 1/2 ton if I was going to use it like a car.

Just sold the Tahoe for $2,500. It only cost us $500 to run it for 5 years. Time to get serious about the new truck.

Those mirrors are sweet! Got one on my Flatbed! Yeah! ONE! Broke one, needed another asap, so... You can swing them out and flip them to see around wide trailers.. You could drive down and drive it back... Good test for reliability..

Have to fly in and drive back on that one and even then we are having difficulty figuring out the time we would need.

Does that grill emblem on the blueone say "454"? Common engine in them. I use to see C10 step sides with 454 in them at the dealer back them.Single pellet cat and all.

Yeah, it looks like it has a 454 emblem in the grille. I remember my grandad had a few of these old trucks, 350 emblem in grille, 454 under the hood.
