    I would love to have pretty much any of those scrapped cars. Explains why so few are left today.

      neat site.
      my grandma was born november 1929 (rip 2005). A big leap in life, her last years was literally shrinking bones, and becoming very humble. Meals , pennies, coupons.. you name it. She was rich her whole life.

      The end was catching up to the beginning.

      Beyond depression, those cars in the junk yard had a heads up that the engine design, the wheels, the steel, everything about them was done already. They were worth nothing to the generation climbing in.

      Even in history, evolution is lied about...blaming economy.
      In automotives, what has hung on?
