I agree that pro-touring is getting old, mostly due to cars that look like they could go fast 'round corners but never actually do.
I suspect in Cali there is a few thousand nostalgia-styled hot rods and it 'may' be old there, but here in the Midwest there aren't that many, I LOVE that style.
My car is set up to corner to some degree, but it's not "Pro Touring", it's just an old pony car with "Trans Am" inspired modifications. And whether someone else likes it or not is irrelevant. I suspect groucho and many others here would feel the same way.;)
