Re: some interesting Hamb posts
I spend quite a bit of time on the HAMB. Haven't had any problems yet. I like some of their ideas. Check out the Friday Art Show. Some amazing work!! Also the auctions that help support the place are something that would be nice here.

My favorite line to throw in when the crap gets thick on the hamb:
"It's all about appearances"
Which is very true, and very unspoken

I'm a member and have had an issue or two but overall it can be very informative. It's good to know why or how things were done in the past IMO.
As for overall content I get more out of speedtalk.com but it's the internet.... most sites have there issues, ya get what ya pay for.

Except, they ARE talking Beach Boys and Poodle Skirts. While I agree that MANY members there aren't overly freakish about tradition (same people also are not building trad rods or whatever the trendy name is this week), the CORE membership there aer a bunch of snooty snobs who are WAAAAAAY more into what they're wearing as they park their butts in a lawnchair next to their car at a "car show" than they are about driving, wrenching on, racing, or improving their cars. And they're very in-your-face about anything that doesn't fit their intangible definition of "what's hip" - screw those posers IMO. There's almost nothing of interest over there unless you're into "what's been done a million times already"
