Ryan gave me the $.25 cent tour around Van Nuys airport last night where he works. Old airports have all kinds of cool old machinery hanging around. We found a WWII armored scout car with a opossum playing hide and seek under it. An old twin engined flying boat, several old Navy trainer planes, and some of the richy rich guys car toys, GNX and 70 Cuda convert.

wonder if the owner is happy you telling the world where those cars are stored ???

Hmm, a guy contacted me saying he has all sorts of Pontiac OHC parts and engines. As well as a stock '69 Firebird with one in it for sale. That firebird is also a convertible with a manual tran :o He says it needs rear floor and trunk pans, but otherwise is decent (it's in Los Angeles). What do you think he'll want for it? I wrote him back for a spread of prices on all his things. We'll see...... I'm not really in the position to spend good money on a car.

I used to throw my turn signal and marker light housings/lenses in the dish washer. You'd be surprised how clean they will be, like in almost brand new clean.
