reworking my year 2004 pentium4 for a new fan..drilling holes, cutting case for the bigger one, I static'd out vid display driver.
system restore, back up and running..windows needs to refresh windows experience index..
wanted to be rechecking memory.
I added ecc ram, 4gb maximum (3.5gb useful) and never system restored the new install a couple of years ago.

I just realized what I was missing..

it is still quite fast for ten years old..used to be the fastest in the world. I did not know this needed to reinstall at a low level to upgrade memory, it is even faster.


hyperthreaded, dual channel, dynamic paging..
some guessed 1200mhz out of the 400 written.

DDR1, the ancient stuff.
7.525 years running...65900+ hours.

average temp:
149 degrees.

I was just an aircraft mechanic, and still get startled. I have a neighbor who may be a real schizo, climbed my fact after mentioning I was a veteran.This when I first moved in, meeting a few people. Assumed it to be no problems. Very disturbing sometimes. Military tends to do that.
