got my y111 dna test results back.
very unique.
I only have 3 matches at y111...datingback hundreds of years to one of my grandpas giving up their son.
my name was dead.
my biggest matches are adopted donovans.
as tragic as the word of mouth was for sure.
one is dated at the norman invasion (1000 years ago)
there is hundreds (maybe thousands) of offspring now.
the other is much closer, like 400 yrs
the 400 year one actually resembles a pale version of my dad.. with a vikings last name
that guy must have been surprised to see the spanish surnames show up in his viking upbringing.
both adoptions are to scandinavian.
both adoptions helped me triangulate the surname that got them
anderson and. andersdotter
and the various old spellings.
not an evil tale.. it was woman related.
coincidence to time of a war.
we liked the normans.
they fixed my name to the current spelling.
it was still donndubhain back then
a hack of my basque spanish donibane.
we are the don juan
the san juan
st. jean and the spanish st. john.
we were loved for some reason.. hence south ireland is sitll a country of its own with just two surnames plastered everywhere like a middle eastern king
donovan and williams.
williams is in my Y list. Very old brothers apparently.
we were the vipers pit. in spain, pasai donibane.
the greek spanish pirates coming out of the mountains at the sea with ships.
Lafayette used that port to set off for the american revolution.. he did very well too.
we are the saved.. with a name as St. John.
spanish continued to reserve that name for some coastal cities.. like puerto rico.
san juan.
With my current genetic make up. I want to wander to old places.
I do not know what irish is.
I do not know what scandinavian is.
I am back to where we started from thousands of years ago only now as healthier american..
given the history, being a disabled veteran sure seems appropriate
god damn didn't they know fighting.
french spanish and mysteriously matching lombards and greek graves.
my true ancestry has me at 48% of my make up of dna is at all illyrian graves dug up.
that is ancient greeks.
the boat men.
this tells me my spanish has an ancient greek origin, before we were ancient spanish, to be called ancient irish
that must be a 5k year trail for sure.
we are the r1b dna population boom of western europe.
well written.. I guess we like to make some noise, and gather people around.
