That's what all the turbos are for. Haha. If it was blueprinted deck height and CC on the heads, you'd get the 8.5:1 ... they probably left you plenty of meat for machining! It's not the end of the world, you can cam down for more cylinder pressure and the factory parts will live a lot longer. I get really hung up on this kind of thing... paralyzes me from finishing things. I can't remember who said it here, but it really hit home:

Perfect is overrated. So many miss out on years of fun waiting for perfect to happen.

Thanks Bullet and Blu. I sure appreciate it! My wife's grandma is so much better off now. There was really no quality of life at all in the last few months of her life. The service for her was very nice, and it didn't rain too bad at the cemetery. My wife and mother-in-law are doing well, but my wife is having a little more trouble than she thought she would. Can't blame her though.

Yesterday my wife and I celebrated 16 years of marriage! I wouldn't change a thing! It has been great.

Thanks Bob! Congrats to you also! I've had the same woman and the same job for almost 21 years! My wife gets a medal too. 40 is not bad. I went over the hill almost 5 years ago,and I felt exactly the same as the day before.

I've had my truck for 28 years, and my Formula will be 20 years old in September. Last new car I bought!

It felt a lot like being trapped in that bakery, with just a pane of glass — in this case the one to my computer — separating me from a movement I stumbled upon. I didn’t mean to be a part of a fight, but it was oddly exhilarating to be there. I hope one day I will find myself on the front lines of a cause again, and not because I got a hankering for a pastry or because I shared a headline. There’s a lot about which to be mad. A lot about which to opine. No matter your side, it’s good to stretch out your limbs to battle for something. Even if you are just holding a scone.

                    • In the past I've had trouble keeping all my vehicles running/operable at one time. Now I have more running motors that I have vehicles. I'm VERY confused now, never had this "conundrum" before.

I'm not sure that's a problem... the insurance is a problem. How come I can't just pay one premium, make it the most expensive car, and have them all covered? I can only drive one at a time!

No kidding!! Especially when there is only one licensed driver in the house.

I've been trying to make that argument for years but it just keeps falling on deaf ears. I want to ask them if I'd get them all fix if they all wrecked each other in my driveway or if I wrecked into my own house, would the car AND the house get fixed? This should in no way be taken as an indicator of the way I think, just the questions that arise from the way the "rules" are enforced. It's just another way to soak all they can from the little guys.
