I did a small one with the 68 in the shop. Nice black strips about two ft long. I'm not big into them since I need tires and don't have lots of money for more tires. If I only had one muscle car, that would be different. Right now two trucks need tires, the red car needs a set, and I have to get some tires for the Ansen slots my girl got me for my birthday. Ripping them up because I can just won't do...
My all time best burnout machine is the 70 GTO when it had the 2.93 gears under it. It would do Pro Stock style burnouts with only a bit of prompting, no need to hold the brakes, just stomp it from a dead stop. It can fry a 275 to 315 tire like it's nothing. Its worse now with the high compression 455, but doesn't spin as far since it has 3.42 gears now. The challenge in that car is to not spin the tires taking off.
