  • Not front page worthy

In this thread, you're encouraged to post things about cars/people/whatever that you think should have been on the front page but never made it there.

For example - a 1970 LSX powered Olds wagon by Lingenfelter.

Check out this episode of Motor Trend's Generation Gap, where Davin and Matt compare Lingenfelter's Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser against a Ferrari FF!

I rate the wagon and the video two Oogas, and three Boogas.

And Mike is such an over-the-top cool and nice guy. I'm SO glad I got to meet him when we were ganged up at this shop in Brighton. What a pleasure.

there is more than several people to think of..as board rooms narrow down, the man side winning.

Even subaru has a superhero, the STI guy from the 80s. Most look mid 90s for "STI". Took me a long time to find his name.. he does not have superhero status. that was one man who literally got mad at an entire corporation..and won.

The real crew at porsche that built the real four cylinder. No one mentions the 160 horses in the early 60s...a small group of engineers got it there. It does have its revenge today with the 718.. long overdue.

the rochester people. Rocket science gone gov't limits...with secrets for all of us to open it up.

The hurst shifter bases, most look at the basic steel rod. No. that is not the Hurst. The base at machinist grade is. Anyone can throw a pole on top of the base.
Hurst had to do that old school drawings back in the day...all those transmissions.

          Gear sets being world universal.
3.73 comes to mind. Even tractor trailers use it.

incredibly god status people without a name...changing the entire planet.

This was the only video I could turn up, but Steve and the truck BELONG on the front page. Somewhere on the Internet there must be a vid of them on the track.

This isn't a complaint about the amazingly cool front page we've got - but it's just a few guys in a flood of internet.... so let's help them out by posting here.... if they poach, cool, but there's a lot more then what they post there.
