its a nightmare.

I am blessed to grow up with my dads trucking.
he now has his 12 or so rigs lining the garage wall in pictures.

his wimpiest hauled the biggest load. An old IH with a 350 cummins turned up an owner operators way.
A 60 foot steel beam that had to be delivered in a tight spot. The wimpy cabover was the owners choice.
Terrible trip.

I was 13 and refused to get back in a 318 detroit jimmy. My dads friends truck, I had to wait for my dad who was not far off.
I used to get very angry, ended up a mechanic, future teller, dignaosis...

and then I became a crew chief on billion dollar airplanes.
Someone had to tell me my wizardry was from abuse.
I disagreed.

I have always loved Freightliner trucks for years but I have a good friend of mine owns a Volvo and told me that without question it is the best truck he as ever owned.
I must admit he is not the first trucker that I have heard say the exact same thing.
