the building I am in had a community dinner planned for today. Got a card a some time ago.
I just got done eating my mac and cheese and spicy sausage dinner, and got a knock on the door..
having just ate, figured the food was for anyone that did not have some, I'd check for leftovers later.

Took a nap, remembered the cook said lots of leftovers, so hardly dressed, hair as bed head grabbed a spare bowl and figured I'd be rummaging through the fridge.

No.

It was an actual party, I walked into. All the people dressed neatly. Lots of food. Even that crazy neighbor Gene was there.
That was all paid for by us as tenants. Nice of the management to do that. I'll take it more seriously I guess.. if here for next year.

I am one that did not get help like a lot of people in the system have done. Still an eye opener for me.

the google guy, Larry Page I believe. He admits he is still the youngest company. Those original google execs are less than a year younger and older than me. Larry page is 8 weeks younger.
Fascinating story as it unfolded.. from the 1990s, from their colleges.

my dad as one trucker is 6 million documented miles.
Try putting that into tonnage.
if hauled all in one mile, Typically 50k added to a trailer..
that is more than 300 billion pounds.
That is one heavy mile.

As if he built all of a city one truck load at a time...and 40 years.

it really is up to ones own strength and will and humility.
the opposite of thief.
some see a line, and it goes farther. They are describing their own vision.
Some see a hole, an abyss sucking ..
those are the ones defining defense.

Some are right on earth, seeing the little things and uncomforts...
they mother the lost and sick and children.

Some sit back like a journalist... never declaring a bible.
