    sounds mean.
    I like it.

I can't even begin to be loud where I am. Then when I think I am quiet, I gotta tugboat bass drum.

Did you use truck headers or did you use the Chevelle headers that tuck up level with the frame..?

Mark, it's been awhile buddy, have been wondering if you were still around, I used the Truck headers, I got a deal on them on Ebay from Holley's clearance store, they are Hooker Super Comp's with the jet hot coating...

And speaking of Day of Days, two days ago was the day the oil pressure hit Zero on my '99 Camaro, I've been running around with about 20lbs for the last few months and some guy in a new 5.0 wanted to go at it, good thing I smoked the guy in the 5.0, bad thing that was the last race it had in it. Here it is sitting waiting for the tow truck, It was a fun 120,000 miles now it's time for a 383 LS1....

                        long term low pressure..
I have done the same. Just take it to the end..

I am still pro-billet filters. They do good. I went through the oil anomaly twice.. gm v8.

At first it seems like low miles for a failure. But then again , It is a Z28 that you probably had way too much fun with the whole time you had it . I can't remember if this car started life with a LT1 or a LS1 .

The 5.7L LS1 was first offered in a Camaro in 1998.

Ya it's a '99 which makes it an LS1 car, and you're right it's been driven hard since I got it. I have everything to put together a new LS1 that will be stroked to a 382, my plan is to put the new motor together and just swap one motor out for the other, so that way I'll just have to swap the accessories over, which will make down time to a minimal... I'll post some pics when I start that adventure....
