I think I'll leave the phone off the hook. OW......crawling on concrete....that's a young man's game.

But in all the back end went together real well. I didn't have any reason to cuss or throw tools or anything. Unit commented, "That was actually enjoyable." Well, not if you're me, not right now....OW.

BUT, heal up and tackle the front end in a day or three. Rent a spring compressor and get hurt up again. I love this stuff. Go Red, go!

I went out there Sunday thinking I'd do some more, got one front corner about 1/3 of the way loose and was hurt up sure NUFF.

Not today or tomorrow. Could probably try some more Thursday but I want to be able to at least walk INTO work on Friday, so probably will get all stove up again Friday after work.

          • Slow muscle recovery is a symptom of Thyroid disease. May be time for a check-up. Of course if you DO have Thyroid disease the treatment won't help the muscle recovery. But catching it early will avoid the 30 some odd OTHER possible symptoms.

            • it is also a symptom of working your entire life.... but get checked out anyway,,,,you and I both know that over 30 years in an industrial occupation will take it's toll on the body, but the spirit remains!

Agreed, going to Doc this week to check out some new aches just to make sure, after 27 years in the paper industry and the last 23 on a paper machine it's getting harder to recover from anything these days.

Best not to fall most times! Helps to stretch and do mobility exercises..

I'm sure you're right and turning 57 in a few days just making sure I don't have something sneaking up on me.

Mid 50's is when we "notice" the slowdown.... You are merely a victum of your wild runaway imagination.. It'll tame down..

                      • 250 Lb. and nearly thirty years ago I was told I had the problem but the medication was too expensive. 200 Lb. and over 10 years ago I discovered the Socialist County of Los Angeles would cover it. Unfortunately the dosage leveled off at over twice an "average" sufferer's amount and the lethargy, cramps and inflamed appetite did the rest. As you "mature" have bloodwork done often, comprehensive bloodwork. But hey, I AM over twice the man I was at 25!

                        • Much of my life is spent visiting doctors. It's become a way of life - but I'm still here, able to see (that was in jeopardy), and pretty much able to do what I want to do so no complaints. So I hope Peewee will get his ol' bod checked and that they can figure out how to keep him moving comfortably. Modern medicine has done good things for me.

                          • I've got 4 different prescription NSAIDs, this has been going on for over 20 years. A long history of acute sudden soft tissue inflammation.

I can go weeks or months without needing it and all of a sudden it might be a thumb, or a toe, or a shoulder, or whatever weird thing, the bottom of a foot....there's no telling what part or when, I can go from pain-free to screaming in less than an hour. And I haven't done ANYTHING to provoke it. Get out the pill bottles and hope the first type works because they are 24-hour pills.

The past few years if I get legitimately sore or bruised it turns to inflammation real quick. I got debilitated at the Gear Head Inn, moving all the sound equipment three times. Saturday at GHI I was debilitated. Took a Celebrex and laid down instead of going on the tour, I couldn't bear to mash the clutch pedal in.

Sunday morning I was 93% better. Hospital to happy just that quick. The Celebrex is not totally working so well this time around after the car work over the weekend. I've got three more different ones to try if this drags on. I've been here before. It's scary taking the 4th different one if the first three don't work. 20-something years ago I was crippled and on the couch and written out of work for 4 moths because the Celebrex stopped working and the local horse doctor didn't know of any other kind of NSAID to prescribe.

                            • A man showed up at church without his wife. When asked he said she was home in bed with Arthriris. His friend said "I never did trust those damn Ritus boys 'specially Arthur!".
