  • is it just me, or.....

do you guys have the same phenominom happen constantly?
    it goes like this....

when i have a bunch of money, i scour partsyards, craigslist, friends back yards & garages..
but i cant find a darn thing i want or need. no matter how much i got in my pocket,
even when i sold the towtruck and had $9K leftover after paying off all the bills....
    couldnt find ANYTHING.

then, when im broke as a joke (recently, my sons leukemia meds jumped from $75/week
to $200/week after the last failed repeal of obunghole care...thanks, obunghole-- you D*CKHEAD..)
i come across all the deals of the century. the stuff you will never find again.

like now. theres a VERY good shape/bordering on fantastic 55 plymouth belvedere 2 door in
ewabeach WITH a clean hawaii title for $4000/obo...and theres just no way in hell i can swing it
right now. or next week. or next month. just aint gonna happen.

i had dreams of a straight axle, 2ft of lift, a tunnelrammed big block chevy and a muncie 4spd.
oh well. i dont "need" another car. if i could sell the chopper or the vette, or the V8 vega i would.
but every craiglist caller is a lowballing freak, so.......

dammit... dammit, dammit, dammit, DAMMIT !!!

You know if you bought a MOPAR, you'd go nuts and sell your Corvettes to pay for them. Dude, you dodged a bullet.

      happens all the time.

I found it was a lesson. What you do comes back, and if its good...

So no, you don't know anyone who has a running, tunnel-rammed 454. Why would you recommend what you don't know?

of course, there is brother bobby with the 62 vette
thats got the 440 (427+.060) and offy tunnel with
twin 1150's and the .770 lift solid roller, dougnash
                      5spd, 8.75 mopar rear with 3.43's....

but that things retarded. hes got an 8200 chip in his MSD,
he starts pulling hard on the stick at 7500+rpm and
when it noses over for a second on the rev limiter *BAM*
                      theres his next gear.....

theres a reason we refer to him as Psycho bobby.

I'm lost - you call him Psycho Bobby because he's your friend? or because he doesn't realize one carb is as good as two?

You may be many things, but lazy and useless are not two of them. Utterly tasteless - well, after the speedo picture, that's pretty much undeniable - but you can't be lazy if you get into an a$$ kicking contest with just one leg and that belly....

Like is always true, you lost the tool the moment the shed was built. I tell my wife a keg is better then a six pack.
