  • Well I made a big decision...

I hated to do it, but I left my transmission job and started a new career. I didnt want to leave on a bad note since I still want to rebuild transmissions at home and they were ok with the decision. At least wat you would hope for. I started at a Ford dealership last week. Its been good so far. Really enjoying it. I assume the snap on dealer is also since I opened up my account again lol. It was a move I really didnt want to do but the pay and benefits were going to be good for Julian and I. Plus, its just as close as the old job to home. If you guys still have questions on transmissions you can still ask me. That was something the dealership liked about me cause they didnt have a rebuilder. They are sending me back to school to get caught up on the computer systems. Ill be gone a week at a time.

Thanks everyone. Julian makes fun of me about being around Fords all the time now lol. What I also liked is they gave me 3 bays to myself and I can work on my own stuff after hours. That will help a bunch and take the stress off of getting a shop built at my house now.

Sometimes job changes you weren't planning but had to work out for the best. I worked at my last job for 18 years, I hated it most of that time. I've been at my current job for the last 10 years and it's been great. You have to do what you have to do, best of luck in your new job!
