  • Thankful for extra parts

Broke the window regulator on the 72 today, about 3 hours later the window is nice and tight and goes up and down. But i'm happy I horded parts for the cars cause the yard has only 2000 and up cars now.

In the junkyard up here, only had a 91 we got some brand new speakers out of and 2 v-6 94's that where totally stripped of everything inside.

I thought I had a bad habit, until the tin can I hated the most was getting fixed for free in more ways than memory can count..
        heading into its 4th decade.

I still hate to love it.

Just ran 240 miles this evening..

I'd rather play with a v8, no regrets on the little car.
8 gallons and 2 coffees. I still cost more to run.
I have gone into extincted parts gathering.

        wish it was valuable...but no...

It's the way it works, I was looking for the longest time in the junkyard for a washer switch for the 72 and finally went on ebay and found one for $20 bucks. All the vintage yards around here are getting smaller and smaller or the guys think they got gold in that yard and want a ton of cash for stuff. There is a yard out of town i've been wanting to go to, but I really don't need anything cause it's gonna be 30+ years old anyway.
