EDIT/Update: Kenny got him alright. It looks too that maybe we ran over the carcass pulling Bluebelle in and out of the garage.

Poor little feller. We like our lizards here - they dine on the finest insects.

They sure do. And I don't dis-like lizards at all. If I could have caught him (they are REALLY fast, faster than a race car) I woulda gathered him up and let him back outside.

But that one lizard shoulda never found himself inside a garage with a cat. A bad choice, somehow. Pre-planned or not. Ill fate, perhaps. Yeah, he's done.

I reckon. And it all makes sense now, he's been laying around sleeping even more, I mean even SMILING while he's sleeping. Way more relaxed than ever. Waking up for a minute and licking his paws and stuff. Successful hunt. He finally pulled his own weight around here, and he knows it. At least in his own mind. He's wearing it like a billboard beside the highway.

Kenny's awake right now. He's got a tool for fun called Bug Bird, a fuzzy thing on the end of an elastic string on the end of a long stick. Dang, that cat is quick. I mean, less than zero reaction time. Blinding fast reaction time.

I would let him drive my car and I would feel very safe riding with him. Nobody is quicker on reaction time. But I'd get concerned when he soon got bored, like maybe a long straightaway on the interstate. His reaction times are electric but his attention span is not so great.

Give info on how the spec clutch works, if you will goodsir. My little eurobox is getting to where the third pedal is mostly mush, and that is one of the companies that makes a friction element for it. Unfortunately, I can't get a centerforce DF like I did with the past few that required viagra for the third pedal. I have noticed that the Spec offerings are priced like they're made from platinum for my combo, but I don't have any experience nor confidence in installing one because of that.

Seems awfully rich for my crappy little eurobox, and I hear tons of horror stories, but I assume the majority are installer error (which seems to be a common thread with cars like mine). So I'd love to hear how yours turns out for you, if you can blow soft tires into vapor on dry pavement by kicking your left foot sideways with your right food extended.

The more I work on cars, the more I appreciate my bikes. Bleah!

I'm running an FX Stage 3 in Mutt the Race Truck (3.0L Mercedes Diesel). The Sachs replacement simply couldn't hold the power once I put the big injection pump on. Anyhow - it uses a sintered metal (copper, I think) puck-style disc. I'm using just the disc though the disc came as a part of a kit for a BMW so the pressure plate, etc. won't work. My only issue is Benz-specific as the M-B pressure plate sits on a machined ledge in the flywheel and the disc is about half the thickness of the Sachs (stock-style). This puts the engagement point a bit closer to the floor than I like but I can use it . The next time I have it apart I'll have the step turned to take away the thickness difference but other than a low pedal it works fine and holds almost twice the HP of the stock engine (according to the same Dyno-Jet).

The whole deal (clutch, PP, throwout bearing, etc) was about $145 from Grip Force so I don't think that's too bad. The only down side is that the clutch is a bit grabbier than before but livable and I think it would be OK even on the street.

Found a project for you during your retirement.
You should have some of these laying around.

Been lying around feeling bad for about 4 days...

Yep, got Red to the shop.

Here's the data on the clutch and flywheel - wow, it's gone up a lot even since I ordered it a couple weeks ago -

And I had to order a new hydraulic cable from somewhere else. And I did NOT order a new throwout bearing for it. Dude called from the shop Monday asking did I want to put a new throwout bearing on it. I said yes, I failed to order enough parts. Go ahead and put a new one on him. So Red's still at the shop I guess waiting on a part and then surgery.

It ain't my spirits that are down, it's both ends and the middle.

EDIT: Like, get out of bed, take a shower, be standing there with clothes on and...oh hell no I'm going back to bed. And then stay in bed so long you feel killed from being in bed for so long. Between crapping and can't eat days.
