        • I wonder if he'll ever compare the Duramax one he built before with this one,,,
Also, I can't even imagine how much it cost to do that there.....

I don't imagine it would have happened without Deboss.

                    • My life priorities, in order:
                      1) God
                      2) clients
                      3) my cars
                      4) my wife

                      100) YouTube videos and falling rapidly.

When I watched (post-blow-up-apparently) the putting the clip on the turbo. Those are the same turbos I have for my Buick I've even taken them apart (and reassembled them)... I saw the clip and thought these two things: "That doesn't look right" and "why would I listen to his snark, later, if I were to post there might be a problem?" Sure, he owned it - but the truth is his attitude was a high contributing factor to the problem. Experts always couch their answers with "probably" and "likely" not because they're humble but because they became experts by making most of the mistakes at some point prior. Experts don't say "I've done thousands of them without a problem."

Those rings usually have to be set with a drift. I appreciate that he owned it, but we will see it happen again because the attitude is still firmly in place - him going off on how grown up he was by owning it.... yeah... not impressed.

Irony - both he and Woody, serially, blew stuff up because they got cocky. Woody couldn't be bothered to tape up the intercooler hole.... Ah well, it's YouTube, screw up and prosper - the clicks will pay for the replacements. What's fun is watching how the Google millionaires are spending their money.

You'll note I haven't been posting much about Vice Grip either.... buying back the 56 Buick, cool. The fully restored 69 Camaro.... hmmm.... add to that it's now formula. Buy crap, drive long distances, sell crap. That said, I want the diesel Scout....

And, I can't wait for the drama that will be SEMA this year. With all the new, automotive authorities populating the 'tubes.... you just know there's going to be a fight.
