So I finished up machining the caliper brackets and its time to start making things pretty. One thing I'm considering is machining the NISSAN off of the calipers and then painting the calipers.

The only real reason I've not just done it is I will probably sell them and I'm wondering if it will kill off a large portion of the value.

    Thoughts?

Your road wheels will more than likely cover them, so, I'd paint them with high temperature black wrinkle finish rattle can and call it a day....

wouldn't they be the brakes that no longer say Ni ?

belt sander and powder coat... unless you are going to sell them.

Sounds like rubbing them down with some Simple Green and letting the next guy figure out the visuals is the answer. Less work and probably doesn't hurt the value.

Now feel free to keep the Brakes who so formerly said 'Ni' comments coming...
