Banner Road and Fragaria Road in Washington State, known to many as "Banner Jump". Downhill to a flat intersection, back to downhill just after the intersection. Would launch a Nova over 200 feet if done right, could be hit either way.

The old Copperas Cove road that led into West Fort Hood. Coming back onto base, there is a cattle guard, followed by a quick shallow drop. 80 MPH was sufficient.

I amend my original theory. Born in less than 10,000 Pop. OR in the military. Although I think McT was BOTH.

Just one. USAFA is technically Colorado Springs, so well over 10,000 pop., even in '83.

Not an Army brat. Dad was out of the Air Force when I showed up. Only got on because Grandpa was retired AF COL and everyone was living in the Springs. What does help was that I was a highly unsupervised child from beginning to end.
