                Unlimited..... YAWN!

So basically I'm watching a Drag Race where nobody runs within a FULL SECOND of the national record. The pirates from Street Outlaws have boarded, raped, pillaged and ran away from Drag Week. $$$$ talks BS walks.

Let's see them drive on public roads for 300+ miles to the next track and do it all again tomorrow ... for five days in a row.

Randal said he stabbed the brake pedal like a clutch at the 1-2 shift. lol Old habits are hard to brake! (pun intended).

Word on the street is: No times for SME for Monday and if you are a class car and did not make a pass in the first session you have to take a 20.0 @ 99 to stay in.

That's gonna piss some folks off.

Well, the Kumbaya Drag Week lives on. RMRW looked like MORE fun, plus a few Bux if all that matters is fun. Weird how Bailey is only running 1.0. I mean, I GET it, Drag Week is still build a cool car and have a REALLY good shot at getting it featured in magazines. LOTS of those. Cooler cars than Power Tour or Street Machine Nationals because the bar is higher to complete and compete. But then again if a car doesn't fit the class structure and do really well it's chances at fame get downgraded too. Overall without the REALLY fast times I guess I'd rather just read a magazine feature or BLOG (hint, hint) features on the coolest cars there.

I mean, I KNOW building an 8 second street car is NOT easy. It's just that Street Outlaws used to be just another bunch of 8 second not even street cars calling themselves fastest and Drag Week cars were FASTEST and STREET. Seems reversed now with a few S.O. and No Prep guys bragging about being STREET and THEY are FASTEST. Maybe add a Pump Gas cruise to a No Prep series?

Anyway a question I didn't ask is getting answered. I asked if someone put a max-effort, No Rules, Pro Mod style drivetrain in a Dragster or Funny Car how much faster would it be than a Pro Mod with more and more TOO MANY rules EVERY SEASON? I ask because I think it would go DEEP fours to 1,000 feet making the restricted Nitro Cars we have now look out-dated and a tad silly. Seriously NHRA Pro Mods go high 4s to the 1,000. INSTEAD we get a max-effort No Rules TA/FC motor in a 57 Chevy....

Anyway since if you blinked today you missed a lot how about favorite cars here? I of course LOVE Squirrel's new ride but I blinked and missed the checkout pass. Times and place on the replay? I Really liked the Early Vette gasser with the EFI Enderle, but it didn't get much screen time.
