nothing wrong with being broke--i got a kid with leukemia,
im so poor i cant even pay attention half the time.
but thats WHY i dont call guys asking $500 for something
if i only got $75-- thats not an offer, thats an insult.
and THATS not ok. cant afford it or a REASONABLE
close offer? dont bug them. thats where the class part comes in.

I get all that, and used to let it bug me too, but now it's just a game. And it's to this point, when I sell something I do two things, first I send a note to the lowballer telling him or her that I got 2x my asking price because I had bidders; then second I delete the ad. Oh yes, and I whistle thinking that either they ignored it or they now think that whatever I was selling was a low price..... and lose money when they find out that I was lying.

and yet. what is reasonable to one person is an insult to another.... I use this verse from the Bible because it so illustrates the entire notion I'm trying to relate It's no good, it's no good!" says the buyer-- then goes off and boasts about the purchase. (Proverbs 20:14).... this stuff has been going on forever and it's the human condition.

To the initial question, if you go with my past track record , I need to get 600 bucks for it to be worth my while . The last thing I sold was the Camaro and boy , I just wanted it gone ......I was about to pull the 305 and T5 as one and scrap the rest . I really don't mind low ballers , it's part of the free enterprise system . I've had a C4 good which is pretty big since it includes the top half of both fenders sitting around taking up space behind my garage for 2 years just because I 'm just not sure the trouble is worth the 150 to 200 I'll get for it .
