    I feel for his family. But he did die doing what he loved. There is something to be said for that. Having said that. There seems to be more 5o this than just risk and liability . If you look at what the pro's used to drive in motorsports not all that long ago. I don't like threads like this as everyone can't believe the lack of safety .but.. will go to a classic car track day at a road course or the drag cars from back in the day making passes and rubber stamp those actions be going or watching it. Be honest. If it wasn't for the fear of getting sued ,much of the safety rules and requirements would never happen. Just go look at what was used in the golden era or motorsports. Those cars would not pass tech for the local bull ring , or 11 second pass on a drag strip but were pounding the pavement with nitro. Guess when I got a track and sign a waiver. My safety is my responsibility, if I proceed anything that happens is on me. Not the track or those running the show.
