Of course NPK *IS* track racing. I go back to season one of SO where they called out the whole planet with the "Fastest Street Raced Cars" brag. SOME here will be giddy to note Murillo was packing an all-Ford combo.

And oh yes, the title of "Fastest Street Driven Car" goes back to ex-Drag Week guys, STILL. Maybe someday there will be another SERIOUS event for THAT. More $$$ fewer games.

MEH, part of why no one buys the mags is they tend to feature the same guys over and over again. Year after year.
As bad ass as they maybe,
They are not the only cars and owners that show up at the events.
Taking nothing away from some, but A select few could build a car they know would blow up on day one and know they still get ink in the mag.
Part of the reason, I haven't even picked up a issue of Car Craft/hot rod/etc in years,
And I can read them for free, and don't.
