What I Always tell people that ask me , I'd go to the chevy store and buy the fastest black or red vette . Then after that I'd drive it to where there were 40 to 50 foot cigarette style boats that were built for rough seas and would go island hopping in the Caribbean. If that got old then go thru the canal and head up the west coast and hassle Deaf Bob and SBG for awhile . I know nothing about these boats but some have 3 engines . I think it would be cool if the 2 side engine were fast BB Chevys and the center one was a diesel just for cruising. I have seen the last 2 record Atlantic crossings were in one . About 2.5 days at an average of 65 . Anyway .....yeah , a life of powering island to island .

of course the warehouses full of monster trucks, pipe buggies, funnycars,
top fuelers, 70's nascars, old choppers and trikes, dirtbikes, etc etc etc...

but mega zilion rich? id have my own private cargo plane and a few escort fighters
(like airwolf style for lack of a better word) and a team of mercenaries. id also have
a home/school setup somewhere in american soil with doctors, nurses and retired mma
      fighters/doormen/etc as guards 24/7.

i would then take said plane & mercenaries to thailand, cambodia, phillipines, wherever
its needed, and "liberate" any and all children forced into prostitution. and anyone involved in it
in any way would just mysteriously disappear. then get them home to us soil and get them
healed physically and emotionally as much as is possible, use the house/school as a place to stay,
food, clothes, skill sets to make it outside....

and all i want in return is that when they got a choice, make the right one.........

theres a reason its so specific for me-though i wont get into that here- but 1 out of every 4
women will be molested as a child. think about that...
and 1 out of every 2 grown women will experience some sort of sex crime at some point in their lives.

      this is UNACCEPTABLE, and it
      needs to stop. period.

I'm a simple man with simple needs & wants. I don't want stuff that costs a lot to insure and store, and what I do purchase needs to be tax deductible with depreciation. I'd buy the nicest 73 Imperial and Cherokee XJ I could find. Wife's dune buggy would finally get done! I'd keep my little 1100sqft house and do some massive improvements. I'd invest in commercial real estate. Take care of family and friends. Set up non-profits to help people with disabilities, teach kids to read & write, help homeless people get their lives back, help animals... I won't quit my day job either. I like what I do, and that means a lot.

I can ID with that. But what about fresh water and septic? Everything comes at a cost or a sacrifice. Only just sayin, while we're dreaming.

Deepak Chopra the great philosopher has said about wealth "Don't think about numbers or material things". "Instead think of what you could be doing and where you would be doing it and try to do THAT any way.". Of course he has made $80 million off his books so what the heck are WE doing writing here for FREE? Kinda wasteful for me to say, but if I was rich I'd STILL take a lot of naps. They COULD happen in a chauffer driven stacker rig though. Travelling between shops and facilities where I have teams of mechanics and engineers building and testing bizarre creations based upon my Automotive tastes and theories. Shooting for the most beautiful and fastest cars imaginable, but cheap enough so I could have people race me and each other and build even more of them. A bunch of new classes and categories focused upon things being open ended and encouraging innovation. Things like Top Non-Nitro Methane Dragster and Funny Car. Top 5 Liter Drag Race ANYTHING. Truest representations of racecars gone by with updates to technology to go faster with safety.

Hackers KNOW Deepak Chopra wealth. With things like IPTV servers and Kodi they can make ANYTHING appear on a video screen you'd want to see anywhere else. Teams of hackers snatching the movies out of the Theaters and building endless libraries of past artistry to distribute for free. Keeping it technically challenging enough so there's still money in creation and distribution by normal means. So if all you want to do is watch, it is quite doable if you are just a bit above average in skills.

Some people find happiness in arts in big crowds and events. They fund EVERYONE else by attending concerts and going to Theaters. I say "Thanks, but no thank you". I used to enjoy putting on events though, on a very limited scale. Could do that with a very beefy crew.

But a car? Sooner or later you get tired of cruising or racing ANY possible ride. If you could be anywhere right now would it be driving a car at all? You aren't driving what you have or you wouldn't be reading this.

After today of chewing grinding dust.... i'd buy myself serfs. People to do all the terrible jobs I hate, then I'd take total credit for all their hard work. Yep, I'd be a terrible person....

Along with what I said earlier , I'd have people to do all my work and I'd watch them make cool stuff . I'd give them credit for it..........and the cash.

Strange.... The death of DIY. But we'd all still WANT Workshops to NOT work in, I guess. And if you could be anywhere, would it be in a workshop, not working, doing what? And if you HAVE a workshop why aren't you there now?

Yeah, same thing. I think cash is not nearly the limiting factor, it's motivation. Or inspiration. That's what make us all "go." We don't need money to get off our ass and do something. I have that conversation with myself all the time......get up and DO something. But it's easier not to, unfortunately. OW doesn't help a whole lot either.

I'd have a much bigger shop and a full-time mechanic/fabricator who would help me get stuff done. I'm thinking Min301 could be That Guy. Pay him stupid well. We'd fill the shop with all the nifty tools I only wish I had. I'd rebody Mutt with the newer S-10 just to see if it's slipperier. And we'd build an early Packard roadster street rod with a Packard V8. Also, a Duesenberg so Hemi Joel and I could drag race (and I'd DRIVE IT as a fair-weather DD).

ME and I would look for the best way to do good things to improve people's lives in a sustainable way - the ol' "teach them to fish" thing. We'd pay off all of our kids' houses and make sure all the kids and Grands of driving age have a nice, safe car. Enough for the kids to make their lives easier but not enough so that they can quit working as I think they need the pride of making their own way in the world. Of course they'd get what's left in the end but in the meantime we can control it a bit.

Seems like the obligation that comes with great wealth is how to use it to make the world a better place from this point forward. Moving into a mansion that we don't need is just meaningless indulgence to impress - WHO?
