Breaking traction during a run isn't too bad, spectator-safety wise. Not likely that anything that comes loose would make its way back to the start line. My buddy Dick had noticed that Mutt barks a bit as I shift into second and no one has even mentioned it. I'm running TOO BIG Nitto drag radials on the rear mostly because they're speed rated and pretty tall giving me a "gear swap" so I have pretty good traction. I run at 50 PSI and someday I'll mess with tire pressures to see if there's any speed there (maybe try 30 and 65 and see if there's any difference).
