What tool do I use ?

I'm familiar with torx , Allen , but what do I call a fool to get this plug out of the new engines head so I can get a coolant sensor in there . Not the right size for a socket drive .

Square...it's probably a square pipe plug socket, that you need. Those things can be a real bitch. Get a good quality socket and make sure it's in all the way, and be careful. Sometime they just wont' come out, without drilling.

That video that Patrick posted, that's the sort of thing that limits me, my mind. Take a fat Allen and a grinder and MAKE a tool. That's the difference between me and anybody who can work on anything. Well, that was a cool video. Turn the volume down, lots of cussing. I don't usually cuss that much unless I AM attempting to work on something. But that's cool.

Sean and I have run into similar issues.... we have a piece of 5/16 key stock welded to a length of bar stock for such plugs....as far as being an enabler goes, I just have a tendency to come up with ideas and am pretty good at research....I'm just trying to be a helpful friend to as many as I can!
