Not sure how many of you watch Regular Car Reviews on Youtube, but one of the guys from it released an album. One of the songs from it you might appreciate. https://theromanrcr.bandcamp.com/tra...iacocca-demo-2

Ballad of Lee Iacocca

I've got some edits . . . .
Got hacked at Knundsen and his Cobra Jets and Boss
And engineered conditions for Bunkie’s sudden loss
Fired all the racers and trashed all the Muscle Parts
Unleashed bean counters on Kar Kraft, breakin’ racin’ hearts
Turned a generation to the General for speed
Left Ford’s remaining racers in a hurt-load of need
Pushed out tons and tons of rusting crap piles
Granada, Bumblin’ Bobcat, and killer Pinto fires
Cartooned up the Mustang into an ugly joke
Downsized the T-Bird into bad boxy baroque
Got FoMoCo indicted for burning people up
But at least on the Pinto he saved twenty bucks
Got canned by the Deuce when he’d finally had enough
But his idiot poor planning made 1980 a total bust
Then boxed on Chrysler, going all front drive
Ruining the ‘80s with depressing no V8 jive
Dodge Aries and Plymouth Reliant
Oh they were so government compliant
They pushed like a dump truck
Squared out of style like a lame duck
Anesthetized the kiddies through a dull minivan
With fifty cupholders was Iacocca’s plan
Nothing before the Viper that was worth a crap
But then Lutz and Shelby get the credit for that
Peddled the little boxes with some tired old lines
“Find a better car . . buy it” was the brash headline
And the Japanese feasted while ol’ Lido burned
From Iacocca's ancient boxes had the market turned
What do you say about old Lido
His latter days were much too Fredo
Sure he had a handful of early hits
But after Knudsen he lost his freakin’ wits
How bad would it be, what less could we do
If this has-been man hadn't retired in 1992
