How on earth did you get into the motor to replace the chute charge with something else? That's something I would have never thought of doing, not even today. Plus, I wouldn't know how.

the chute charge was merely gun powder, so replacing the chute with silver nitrate, sulfur, or gasoline (oops) made for some entertainment.
