  • Big Daddy Roth's Orbitron

    Little Big Daddy Roth history:
There was several writes about Big Daddy's Orbitron a few years back after it was found in Mexico........in front of a porn shop.
They managed to get it back across the border and it was restored.
Story has it they told Mexican customs it was a dune buggy.

Here's an adv I found in a August '68 Hot Rod with it for sale...........$6,500 was a bunch of money back then (car came with trailer and was still intact).
Hindsight probably would've been a good investment........it being in El Paso might be the reason it ended up in Mexico.

I remember reading the article about the guy discovering it outside the Mexican porn shop. One of my favorite Hot Wheels cars was the Beatnik Bandit, so I loved the canopy on this one too.

The bubble top, while cool looking, wasn’t practical as it was hot as hell in the sun
