I had lots of decent luck ordering hotrod parts from them. Stock parts, not so good. I'll say their surfing menu is very user friendly but you still have to believe a real human is going to stuff the correct part in the package for shipment. Maybe they hire the same kids that the brick and mortar stores do.

Rock Auto has shipped what I've ordered but I hated their on-line catalog and order interface. But then I'm an ancient paper catalog sort, so almost all of the electronic auto parts look-up systems kinda suck.

And of course they don't remotely have "all the parts your car will ever need" . . . .

they suckered me in with a good price on parts. My MO is look up the part on Rockauto, then take the part number and order it on Amazon. This time the part was $37 vs. $57 (and I needed 2).... thankfully I don't 'need' it for a least a few more days.

rock auto is great if your expectations are low. It's just a service to sell stuff from various warehouses, and you really need to do your homework first and get your order right the first time, and also, don't be ordering stuff that you really need to get a car going in the next few days.

So yeah, thanks for the PSA.
