Not suggesting that's a good deal (or a "hot rod"), but it was more than a couple of lengths . . . . looks to be about a second quicker . . . Massive box to get rolling.

400-horse AWD MKZ would probably roast it.

Things like this remind me of Yugos. There was an overstock after the country cooled to the idea of the $3995 car. A Phoenix dealer tried to spur sales by making a sporty version. Day-glo color and a GTY emblem. I always laughed. GT? Why?
