Lighting must be really bad to make the door look like that.
Those colors look like '55 Chevy colors. I like 'em.

      Definitely a '50s pastel color . . . It makes me hungry for some reason . . . .

At first look, I thought it was a copper, but now you have me doubting myself ... Salmon ?

Mom and Dad had a '55 "Power Pack" Chevy 210 about that shade and they always said the color was "Salmon" . . .

Dad always bragged about it being a "Power Pack' . . . and then ALWAYS told the story about how it crapped out from vapor lock in heavy Chicago traffic in the Summer of '56.

I think it's copper over a very light-colored pearl coat.

Needs more black panels than the roof. As time goes on I'm questioning the logic of a tube frame Cadillac.

While the Caddy wagon looks mostly 1959..
The rear fins look smaller, more like 61-2-3?

                    Good catch!

Maybe they cut down the fins so that the kids could see better out of the rear-facing "gooney" seat.

(I'm not sure why we always called the backwards third seat in a wagon a "gooney" seat back in the day . . . I used to think it had something to do with the tail gunner on a bomber (too much viewing of "Twelve O'Clock High" (1949 film and TV series 1964-1967) perhaps).

                    But then the "gooney bird" aircraft -- Douglas C-47 Skytrain -- didn't have a tail gunner . . . .)

I've never heard it called that before, but I imagine everybody had their own name for that position.
We called it the "way back seat".

Much different than a tube-frame "shoebox?"

The whole pro touring emphasis on expensive tube frames seems a tad excessive . . . Most cars work just fine with a modified OEM chassis

II have a good friend who is building a '64 Studebaker station wagon (factory retractable roof version) with a hot rod Studebaker V8 and a 5 or 6 speed transmission. Hopefully it will be ready for Power Tour. I think this wagon could surely be considered a hot rod.

I think it's close to the Evening Orchid or Dusky Rose.
