it was funny watching him drive that home... I know the feeling of wondering whether or not you'll make it home or your car will be impounded due to a long, long list of infractions. Personally, I'd have screwed a plate from something to it then used arm signals... "but officer, that's the plate that was on it, I figured it was legit" ....and he said "don't ever let me see you out here again in this car..." and you know what? he didn't.

that was a great show.
be it my impoverished locale, my friends chevelle had a 307, my own a 250 with monojet.
in the 90s. it was our daily vehicles.
not the very popular ones.
that quarter inch less on the stroke had me inlove with the 305 instead... after they allowed them to run (1980s HO and again in 96 in the trucks).
I do not miss some of the sbc some of them played with octane wrongly.. like the hero 350.

Why wouldn't start for him before he touched the key? The ignition was in the off position and it was starting from the hot wire from the starter
