I've always liked the long nose and short tail of the Vette. Set it apart.

the new one looks like some foreign job, even more than the past few years.

        Looking at 2018 sales figures:

Considering the 2020 trim level introductions will be staggered the "gotta have one" types that normally would get the Z06 will spring for the base model to be first on the block. Priced at $55K, $65K and $85K Chevy made a boatload more money on the upscale versions. Hurting the low level sales by a higher MSRP and taking a little flak doesn't seem like much of a risk. The big thing will be not to repeat the mistake they made on C4 pricing.

They pissed off a LOT of people in the next two years. REALLY scary is the '79 Corvette is the best selling EVER. What does the public know, right?

1979 - what were your other V8 options in 2 seat sports cars? that said, I agree, I'm not a fan of the greenhouse styling or the Vega interior.

Yes they do, and I for sure never in hell passed one on a race track, that's for sure. It was the other way around, I was in the way. Big time in the way. Those cars are even faster than the fast cars. I had plenty of fun trying, Lucky I didn't get killed in so may tries, I sure could have. Got away with it, and had heaps of fun trying. The best view of a Corvette is seeing one disappear over the horizon ahead of you.

Here is the thing about the GT it will never be an low cost car. I can pick up a Vette any day of the week for less than 5k off my favorite online sales page.

I would love to have a GT with my name on the title but I don't see it happening. Corvette sure more than likely some day I will own one, it's on the list.

Anybody else think "transverse" when looking at the prototype? We could be getting a bigger better new Fiero! Hope they use a dry sump either angle, huh?
