(Be patient guys, this is going to take awhile)

June 30, Susan and I head out of Fresno after work that evening for Texas to stay with friends over the 4th. Stayed in Albuquerque New Mexico Weds afternoon/evening after driving all night to get there. Ate dinner at Bucca Di Beppo (GREAT Italian food) and explored Albuquerque a bit.

Finding some of old Route 66 there gave us the idea to check out some more of it along the way as we would be traveling up I40 towards Dallas. Headed out across New Mexico.

Got stuck in some construction traffic and got a shot of some cars for sale along the road. There were allot of stuff like this along the way but Id see it too late to get a pict of it. I like the guys "staying in business sale" sign he had up.

Pulling into Santa Rosa NM we got off the 40 and came through town on R66 headed to the R66 museum. Taking pics along the way we stopped at an old gas station and got some pics of the cars/signs and stuff he had.

For 5bucks you can go behind the wall the engines are on and see all the cars they have on display. Pretty nice collection considering the location. The memorabilia stuff there is impressive. I have alot more pics of this place but here are a couple for ya.
