new to me soon to be daily driver. looked for a LONG time
to find a rust free one here, even had superbuick scouring the
countryside in his neck of the woods but shipping woulda been
insane. so lucky me i finally found a decent one locally and
jumped on it. thank you anyway, my favorite testy/angry white male...

its already got a th350 instead of the problematic and weak 700r4,
and a 8 lug hd dana 44 front/ full float corporate 14 rear. just got
it home tonight at 830pm. first on list fab extra steps to get in
( its got 10" springs & 3" bodylift, freaking HUGE...) and then
remove bodylift so its a little more reasonably sized.

1st pic is how it sits now on the new 36x13.50 swampers,
2nd pic is with the old 39x18 mickeys which have aleady
been sold of to a "brodozer" type guy. ( i had to google that to see
what it was after my son said that, hah hah. man do i feel OLD !!!)

Super find for the Islands. I had to look up Brodozer too, so thanks for explaining it to us ... the Urban Dictionary defines 'Bro Dozer' as "a derogatory term for full size trucks with an enourmous lift kit and overly large tires".

"BroDozer" is also the name of the first Monster Truck to compete in the series with a Diesel powered engine, built by the crew of the "Diesel Brothers" TV Show. The 2011 Ford F-350 SuperDuty Crew Cab has a Wagler Competition performance Duramax Diesel with a PSI Superchargers blower running 50-pounds of boost for 1,500 horses of smoke-free power.

I've been calling the bro trucks for years...never heard the dozer term. but it makes sense.

Nice find, yeah, it sits a bit high with those little tires on it.

Nice, looks better without body lift and with proper sized rubber!

BroDozer is also a rock crawler they built using military axles and huge tires.... they painted it yellow, thus the 'dozer'.... I admit to being entertained by that show...

I dunno about taking the lift lift out and going to smaller tires - thinking you need to name it Daisy, because it's a delicate little flower now

I'd have kept the 39x18's, removed the 3" bodylift and called it good.

Well, I lowered my Dodge so I tend to go in the other direction. I'm no help here at all.

keeping a little lift should fit them...
it is a bit much in the photos.

                nice find.

I love it both ways . I understand lovering it some . I love my burb's looks on 35s but thing it would be funnier to drive on 33s . I really love old square cherries. I thought bro dozes were 4x4s lifted too high for the super wide low profile mud tires they have out these days .

AAAAARGH !!!!!!!! pulled body lift today, of COURSE one of
the "captured cage nuts" in the body decided to start spinning
which necessitated cutting the floorpan to access it......

oh well at least its done now, looks a lot more proportionate--
although its still HUGE with the 10" springs and 36's.
