  • Used Truck For Sale (Money No Object Dept.)

It has been a great run of 5 years. Multiple accomplishments and records have been set but the time has come for someone else to enjoy this S10. You have the opportunity to own a piece of history and continue to set records.

    Accomplishments include:

Fastest steel car ever to compete in Dragweek 2014 to present
First street legal car in the 5's 2014 5.95/244
First and only street legal car to qualify #1 and win an NHRA National Event in Top Sportsman Topeka 2015
Fastest street legal car 2015 5.89/244
Rocky Mountain Race Week winner 2015 and 2017
Still the fastest street legal steel car in the world!
Multiple time winner in Street Outlaws No Prep Kings

I am selling it as it was originally built to run Hot Rod Drag Week in 2014.
    This includes:
620" Brodix 5" PB 5000 built by Proline Racing w/14 runs since fresh
Precision Turbo Gen 2 98 mm turbos
    Fueltech FT600 EFI
    Racepak V500 data recorder
    Racepak Smartwire
    Rossler TH400 3 speed
    Pro Torque converter
    Gear Vendors Overdrive/2 driveshafts
    Kinetic Engineering struts/shocks
Strange modular rearend housing and 3rd member
    Weld wheels/special made fronts
Trailer for Drag Week to haul supplies and doors, has folding roof
    Exhaust for street driving/sidepipes/mufflers
Second set of doors for driving/steel w/roll up windows and mirrors
Second set of wheels/tires for the street
    Ridetech air shocks for street
Bed extension for Season 1 and 2 of SO NPK

You can own this truck and compete in multiple events with it. It is capable of running 5.70's in the quarter and has been 3.91 in the eighth.
This is for very serious inquiries only.
Please help me sell the S10 by sharing this post.
    Thanks,
    Larry Larson

It's too bad the Petersen Museum is no longer associated with HRM. They could buy it with option on the Chevy II if he EVER sells it.

I remember the history, jaw dropping.

I wonder if it fades away like the 1 year only 1965 396 did with its solid tappet noises...
and highest compression ever to ship.

The places I hang out reveal low-medium income catching up to his pioneering.

now the holley terminator for 1k.. all the consolidation, less thinking...

Thanks Barry. You tweaked my memory bank. I should revive my thread, but Did You Know a really large number of Z16 65 Malibus were small block swapped because of issues and motors used for other race projects?

I started driving in 1987... and all of that era was still godly.
I jut watched hagerty on the 60 over 396... its like seeing the finale of a historic gem.

              anyway..
I hope the larson gmc gets a place to admire it.
