I got a call today from Ken Presson's wife telling me that Ken Presson passed away on Sunday. He had been sick for quite sometime. He chose to turn down dialysis as his veins were very fragile and some special set would have had to be used. He wanted to be at home with his wife, dog and cats. Ken was a mainstay of the racing when the ECTA was racing in Maxton, NC. He often brought his dog with him, so had to stay in one of the motels that was less than the best so his dog could be with him in his room. Ken volunteered with me at the shutdown area for many years. Ken did race once in a while either on his Harley or his Triumph. He loved those bikes. Ken won the Lee Tindall Award in 2011, the last year we were at Maxton. Please spread the world to as many who would have known Ken during those great days at Maxton.
