had some fun today with the welder

I had a fluid leak that I was trying to track down and had to remove a header to gain better access. This header has a sweet patch job by the previous owner. I had assumed that the headers were shot and needed replaced so I was waiting on that one. once the header was removed I realized they were in good shape and the project insued.

Sweet patch job. There was some bailing wire that I took of before the picture


How do you think this happened?


Welded and ground down.

Amazing what you can fix with a welder....I did a bit of welding on a pinball machine today! the gizmo that flips the ball over to the shooter was worn, so I built it back up

At least my welding bench is a 1/4" steel plate on a metal cabinet
