I check my local ads every day.
    this one struck me

the deal is outrageous. I see normal repairs.

    That I'll drive!

Want info on the 6.5, tag SBG... he is the expert on here for those motors/trucks..

My 83 crew cab 4X4 is a 454... 9 mpg, empty, loaded, school marm, or hotrodding.

      neat truck, lots of rust.
      2 issues:
      1) overheat
      2) PMD wasn't relocated
      3) at that miles the turbo could be on its way out (though the upgrade is the stock take-off from a 5.7 cummins)

the rest come as normal repairs of any diesel...

Doing it all wrong since 1966

Learning this xcab with my 96, the rust is actually fun to the point of silly.
I like the thought of the real 1 ton rails as the base.

upon searching, I did learn of the pmd relocation, stays cooler and precise after the new one.
the fuel pump can lose a main seal and fill the motor.. no indication until checking oil going overfull.. this can destroy the engine.

I even found a simple upgrade for turbo, if you are handy with a grinder. Mounts in same spot..
found where to add a thermistor for EGT.
          those are the simple things.

being the guy just upped and died and left a truck. The extra on the windows... I bet its a nice truck to clean back up.
          I bet its sold...
          I should message the lady.
