I was going to tell you a story from my youth that might be in conflict with your opinion but decided perhaps the internet would not be the best place to share.

That's dumb and dangerous and risky and selfish and all of those things, but that's a great driver. It also proves that the Hellcat can steer and handle at speed.

The video games like Need For Speed are right. You can outrun a chopper because of fuel capacity. However in real life there are no points scored for wrecking police cars.

You can outrun a chopper because of fuel capacity.

The HPD chopper had to retire because fuel was low, but they were literally left in the dust due to the speed involved. The ABC chopper was faster, but only had a max speed of 120mph and within 10-minutes, the Hellcat had put 8-10 miles between them, so I'm guessing it was doing around 140-150mph, with a 23-year old kid at the wheel.
