In observance of tomorrow's officially declared and named government holiday, I'm going to abide by the complete intent and spirit of said largely anticipated calendar date. To stay within justifiable compliance, I'm not going to work tomorrow. Nossir, nobody can even drag me to work tomorrow even if they wanted to drag me there. I ain't working a single lick tomorrow. Not one single little bit.

I'll take it out a step farther - I'm not even going to call them to tell them that I'm not coming to work tomorrow. Once they figure out I'm not there, they'll have to go at it without me.

Well, I have lived up to PDUB's example. I went to the grocery store then came home and have done nothing constructive for the rest of the day.

We also went to the grocery store earlier. Aside from needing some various foodstuff items to assist with our day of non-work, our primary goal was to witness someone else toiling away in the pursuit of gainful employment. We did in fact see and interact with her, the lady running the checkout aisle. Mission accomplished.
