Yep, that's fast. By my definition 200MPH is sort of the starting point for "fast" but that's from an LSR perspective.

i think its all relative--25mph downhill on a skateboard is fast.
watching my 8yr old niece rip a ktm50 across the yard at 40mph seems TOO fast.
a daily driver that runs 13's in full street trim, with 30psi in the rear tires is fast.
but as always thats MY opinion, and you know what they say about that...

For me really scary starts at 125-130. 90 is a comfy cruising speed.

I used to think 80 mph was fast, now it's the flow of traffic going to work in the afternoon. Now my dinosaur brain thinks anything over a hundred.
Just groovin' to my own tune.

I got to watch Tom Bailey drive his street car 250 mph. It looked like a nice, safe run to me.

                I guess I'm getting jaded

That's the speed limit for airplanes below 10,000'.....funny.

Back to the OP. The company that insures NHRA reportedly feels 340 is too fast. I'm sure Ron Capps is getting some interesting phone calls this week after going 339. Maybe if they point the zoomies INTO the wind?
