ECTA at Blytheville. Apparently some testing was done on the Thursday at the last event in September. The runway is 11,600' so that gives about 3/4 mile to slow down, not counting the extra 1/2 mile or so available in the old alert "Christmas Tree" at the left side of the runway at the end.

Interesting. I was not there but it seemed like when alot of the mile guys went to Maine to run the 1.5 a good number of them blew up. Not sure if they were over revving or it was the extra time at work. Or it could been my imagination. How fast can you take that turn? My car has a spool not sure I would want to.

Won't do me much good as I'm just driving the last 1/4 mile or so. Of course, maybe with the new turbo...... Don't know if I have "good brakes".

The 45 degree right turn at the 1.5 mile mark is my usual turn-off for the mile. Between the 1 mile and 1.5 mile markers I slow down from 175-180mph to 100mph with moderate braking (about 0.4g), so I normally go into it at about 100mph and exit onto the taxiway at about 30mph (after the 135 degree turn).

Andy, if you're trying to call me back out you should be a little less obvious about it...

Bob, you can come too. After all, we're almost half way to Oregon when we're at the track.
