You need the bigger traps..
And set them almost off.. I lay them down a little rough so they almost spring, and are hair triggered.

Oh, absolutely. Up until this point I've been wasting my time, effort and money. THIS is the thing. This came from a phone conversation I had last night with a seasoned veteran of the war in Pittsburgh. Yep, this will do it, no matter which type or however many critters it is on the rampage.

Oh yeah. First ya put just about so much water in the bucket. I was told two inches was enough but I filled it about 1/3 full because I don't know how tall the culprit is.



Then you pour the sunflower seeds in there to cover the surface of the water solid, they'll all float right there.



Then you install a handy ramp. I was heading around the house to look under the house for a board to use for a ramp and I walked right past the shovel leaning there against the back of the house. Perfect. And the lettering on the bucket says it all.

Lesson learned Squirrels can swim and jump better than most other rodents. Whatever happened to chipmunks anyway? Since I moved to sunny climates all I hear about is squirrels. Can't Alvin take any heat? But PeeWee is SO benevolent. He went and bought a whole big sack of squirrel food. You nature lover, you! Is Loren around? He had plenty of stories about squirrels.
