That would be not me. Landracing.com was lucky to find Jon Wennerberg (Seldom Seen Slim) to take it over - these specialty websites are generally not huge money makers.

Summit is obviously losing faith. The site is mis-promoted. Presently it is positioned as a PRIMARY source for race info. The Fox coverage is stepped up and there is also NHRA.tv for immediacy. They need to regroup as more of a supporting and archival source. Who's winning NOW was very powerful when ESPN2 delayed was all there was. What are the specifics, standings and past results is a better function now. Internet advertising is a good revenue source, they just need to focus better to get the clicks up.

Making a small fortune by owning a website is like farming, or aviation........start with a LARGE one.

Yellow Bullet must be doing something right. Any time cars and the web are brought up SOME easily influenced people bring up Yellow Bullet. Or HAMB, your pick.

I'd think it be best id dot.coms like the one listed/subject of this thread. Would be better if it was just a grassroots run page.
And not have to bow to the industry overlords.
Drag racing is contracting, and will be for a long time. The status quo has for decades laughed the people starting out, Out the gates.
The drag racers DON'T support their own. need proof, go to any track on any week end, or better yet a points week end and watch what happens when the bracket guys/gals or the slower vehicles line up to run.
The stands empty out. The status quo, don't cheer on the new members to the hobby or those that can't afford to run fast. They turn their backs.
Then they complain that the slower vehicles or classes are taking away run time that they the "cool kids" could be running.
So, now they don't even bother driving to a track to run. And that is those that have vehicles that the status quo "APROVE" of , If you run something different than what "they" think should be on track you get even more b/s to deal with.
Decades of this closed mindedness and not supporting the lower (slower) classes has caused the lack of much new people showing up with a vehicle to run.
