Yeah, that was a Ford push to the win gone awry. Man, Newman got hit right through the driver's window while he was sliding upside down. Not a miracle in my world. Like the LSR rules, NASCAR has had a lot of wrecks and human carnage and they've learned from it and put rules in place to make wrecks, as much as possible, survivable. That said, things sure could have gone wrong and I'm VERY glad that they didn't. BTW, I heard that the car is now in Mooresville where it's being examined to see if they can learn anything else to make the cars safer. I got annoyed with the coverage. Just "critical condition" with no specifics. I was imagining all kinds of broken limbs and burns. Glad he is O,K, now.My hobby is needing a hobby.Comment
