Model T head gaskets are out of production, I got one of the last ones that Mac's had in stock. The other places are all out.

Mostly, they have all the stuff I need available, though.

With restorers and such working on them that seems weird. Seems like someone would punch out some gaskets from time to time. Maybe not MLS or anything but a regular ol' gasket seems like it ought to be available. Still, I have no doubt you beat the bushes so this info is accurate.

Brings up another question: Has that old repair manual I sent been of any use?

Vette or wagon ? Please say vette . LEDs would hurt the sleeper effect of the wagon . No one not in a coma is ever going to think the vette is stock !

actually, many self proclaimed "car guys" think any disco era vette only
came with a 165hp 305, and therefor must be slow...its fun seeing the
look on their faces in the rear view mirror.

oh good grief, I actually had a friend from California call and ask if I was okay.... it's a solid 20 miles and a huge lake away from me. Not just that, in that neighborhood - that really isn't much of a stretch... and to remind, I use explosives to rid myself of bears.... totally different world
